How do you get around from spot to spot?

Either by driving in the red rocket, or shot-gunning a spot in somebody else’s vehicle. Rarely bussing or training, driving a car seems to be a little easier and a more lazy lifestyle.

What’s your set up consist of?

A GMTA 8.25 inch board with some black griptape, probably some riser pads to keep the wheel-bite on a down-low, Royal trucks, GMTA 52mm wheels, some cheap whatever bearings, and some stickers if there are some lying around.

With all the skateboarders out there, does anyone’s style and skating stand out enough to get you amped or influence the way you skate?

Recently I haven’t been watching many pro videos or anything like that so I have been getting more influenced by the people I skate rather than the professionals. A few local crew’s styles that stand out to me though; Justin Lloyd, Matthew Reilly, Robbie Partington, Mitch Brooks and Lewis Rodan in no order whatsoever. These people get me amped to skateboard just by wathing them roll around.

I guess there are a few pros out there that I enjoy their style, off the top of my head; Marc Johnson, Stefan Janoski, Tim O’connor. But these would influence me less than my friends as I see my friends on the board much more often.

What shoes you rolling in now?

I have a few pairs of Dekline’s that I am really into at the moment, which are the Blye and the Belmont. Both of those shoes make me feel more comfortable on a skateboard. I'm pretty psyched with them. I keep some worn out Vans Eras near my clothing compartment as well – some ‘going out’ shoes.

Favourite lyric from any song?

I’ll taste the devil’s tears, I’ll drink from his soul, but I’ll never give up you.

Whats your favourite trick?

Nollie flip or three shuv when I can do them well.

What tricks cant you do that you wish you could?

Hardflips, inward heel, bs nose blunts, ledge tricks, nollie tres.

Out of all the GMTA crew, who do you find the hardest to beat in skate?

I’d probably say that Quayde would be the hardest to beat.

Favourite beverage?
Has to be beer, pretty much any kind, but a good Coopers or VB works nice - from a longneck.

Favourite food?

Falafel wraps, fajitas, Turkish dips, fast food fries, nachos.

When you head out for a skate , who do you normally call or meet up with?
Normally there will be some waiting and lagging telephone calls I guess, but my local crew I normally meet up and skate with is Spades, Robbie Partington, and Ryan McLagan.

When you're not skating, what might you be doing - what are your other interests?

Going to uni, trying to create something either with paint or materials, catching up with my girlfriend Elise, drinking, psychedelicing or chilling with homies.

What is your first thought when you wake up and it’s raining?
If uni isn't on then its pretty much all of the above, haha.

Favourite place to skate?

Melville, Fremantle, Nedlands and Manning parks.

Are there any spots, tricks, terrain, that have you been getting into lately? Anything new?

Went to Melbourne just recently and that was sweet, going to a different place definatly influences you to skate harder and longer than if you were at home, kinda like to get things done while your there. Been getting into more banks and transition skating lately, really good to skate a 'natural' street spot with those aspects. Also manual spots too, but need to suss out flip in and out tricks before i can claim that im a manual artist, haha.

Also if I can find a spot which I can ollie or 50-50 I will be happy to give it a shot. Just a spot where it would be thrilling to do either one of those basic tricks on would be a spot I would attempt to skate.

What’s your local park and is it any good?

Manning and Frankston, need to suss out Frankston a bit more, but it's still a dope park. I went to Waterloo for that Girl demo just recently, but didn’t take my board. It looked so good but I didn’t get to skate it.

Favourite park you have been to that’s not your local?

Manning and Frankston, need to suss out frankston a bit more, but it's still a dope park.

Dream spot you want to skate?

Japan or China, those crazy humps and pristine ledges. Maybe Barcelona again for an actual legit skate.

Shout outs and thank you?

Quick ones, Robbie, Denis, Janine, Elise, Bow, Aids, Rah, Geol friends, Melbs crew; Snapper, Steve, Hugh, Crookie, Alex, Fenning, Sydney crew; Powell, Beau, Snape, Ryan127, so many Perth crew, GMTA boys, all the groms and older guys that I skate with. I have probably missed a bunch of people but cheers to everyone I've ever skated with.
